Were Merk and Lysell called up? I haven’t seen anything
Not that I know of. It’s just where I’m at. I think turning stuff around with the current talent is unlikely. I’m willing to sell. I think it’s just as likely that the kids come up and spark something unexpected as it is for this team to suddenly find its game and gel with the current roster.

So I’d call at least one up and play them immediately but I’d prefer to fit both. Even if one is the 13th forward. I might even let them compete with one another to play. When you’re not playing your on the 9th floor studying. Letteri, Brazeau, Koepke and Beecher fighting for the same opportunities. Wahlstrom I assume is the first cut. Not sure who my next cut is but I am leaning towards Koepke.

Be interesting to see what NY team comes to play today. The GM gave them a boost and showing confidence they can climb into a playoff spot. Question will be will the their team respond.

Hell No. You kidding me, then there might have to be some actual coaching and teaching done behind the bench. Communication with a younger more talented player, can't have that

How often does this actually happen, though? I am trying to think of an example and I can't (though I am sure there is at least one).
its happen a handful of times, not very often though. I know the most talked about one was K.Tkachuk with Blues

Still owe the Rangers one for Derek. If Miller plays today do this right off the face off. If you can't beat 'em well beat on 'em

Lol, I was in 9h grade watching that game. Get a kick out of Don Earle's description.

Sanderson was being a bit restrained from behind right behind he net and Arnie Brown comes flying in and manages to get on top of Sanderson and is punching him. Sanderson manages to extricate himself but hasn't been able to punch but Earle's description was Sanderson was throwing punches from both sides...lol.

Let's go B's!! No early summer, please.

Unfortunately that appears to be the TBL Groundhog. Bruins Groundhog hasn’t got his game ready yet but he’s working on it and there’s a chance we could possibly get some good news if things start to turnaround. Aka when pigs fly. I do think we could squeeze in but it ain’t looking great right now.

Your awesome! I do want them to win, but to be honest I think this team needs a big time change and as currently constructed their not going very far this year, so I want them to become sellers, if that makes any sense to you. lol

Advanced age or not, he's still the 2nd most gifted offensive player on this team, who brings leadership to your crew. The only way I wouldn't sign him is if he wants a multi year deal, which he very well may and Im sure he could get on the open Market.
If he ends up in Colorado with MacKinnon, I can see the 2026 Olympics becoming a major consideration in not coming back.

His best chance to make the '26 Canadian Olympic Team is riding shotgun with MacKinnon, producing and signing with Avs to max his chance for Olympic Gold.

I think you may have meant DNQ Groundhog.

True and of course it all depends on the GMs of the team, there's some nice up and coming younger players who'll be pushing the vets for a spot.

I always want them to win. I hope they do. That said, I do understand those that want to see them lose because that is the only thing that will produce needed change. I fear that they will squeak into the playoffs and get spanked out fast (or come up just short) but in the meantime were TDL buyers giving up more of the future for nothing and being right back in the same boat next season with even less to look forward to.

But I still want them to win and I want our guys to play well.

Gut check time! Rangers are going to come out with desperation, they can’t lose this game and expect to climb 3-4 teams and claim a WC spot and Bruins can’t afford to lose this game having 2-3 games in hand on nearly everyone else, and dropping games against teams chasing them.

Sweeney should know already but if the Bruins don’t come out and match the NYR intensity and come away with a win Sell, Sell, Sell !
the sell sell sell should have started already

Today it will be…..ahhhhh…..meh.

No idea. Just play with heart. Not expecting much as they prove more and more they need to retool. Seen too many Bruin teams since the 70’s make the playoffs and lose in round one. This year will be the same. Pass.

I just woke up. I’m hungover and I haven’t read a thing about the Bruins since yesterday morning. I assume Vinny Lattieri is once again in the lineup, Merk and Lysell remain banished and the asshole who put this abortion together is still wishcasting a different result today?
