I may be in the minority here but I respect the job Sweeney has done during his tenure. I think the team's culture has eroded this year. From what I can see Marchy is our only leader now. We used to have multiple leaders (Bergy, Marchy, Krejci, Chara, etc.). Never seen so much quit in an NHL team. Coaches and Management shouldn't be blamed.

I don't respect him. Chiarelli started him on 3rd base and he blew 3 straight picks during a generational draft.

Added my most hated NHLers at the deadline and made the team worse Hathaway Orlov and Maroon are pukes people on here who support everything loved it but I wanted to vomit.

Worst farm system in the NHL. Won't even give Lysell a look. F him can't wait until he is gone.

It is going to take time to fix this.He needs to have a good idea type players he needs ( skill,age heart etc) and start putting it together one move at a time.It should not take long to see if he is right guy to do it. I have my doubts personally but my opinion does not matter.

Skill matters at this level.

They need to play hard but it's not worth nothing if they are not smart and have better anticipation.You are definitely right about talent part.
