Gut check time! Rangers are going to come out with desperation, they can’t lose this game and expect to climb 3-4 teams and claim a WC spot and Bruins can’t afford to lose this game having 2-3 games in hand on nearly everyone else, and dropping games against teams chasing them.

Sweeney should know already but if the Bruins don’t come out and match the NYR intensity and come away with a win Sell, Sell, Sell !

Bruins 5-4 OT coming back from. 3-1 late second period Rags lead & squashing chants of ‘We Want Chara’

Matching hat tricks by Miller & Geekie and another point for Brad as he marches to 1000 point and 1000 unnecessary penalty club

With all the teams with games in hand, I think it's a foregone conclusion that the B's will be in sell mode shortly. Red Wings, Isles, Habs and Rangers could easily pass them in the next few days.

I think their is no other option, we cannot beat anyone at the present time and we need to win most.These other teams are not going to sit and wait for us to maybe finally wakeup, if at all possible.

DS sure made a couple of huge mistakes with Zadorov and E Lindholm signings. Stuck with them now as we will not have any takers. Swayman's contract does not sit well with a lot of people.

In other words management the off season was a complete disaster.

Question...did Sweeney sign an extension last year? I know Neely was pushing for it. I can't find any other info .

No doubt. The enigma for me is the defence. It's been stellar for years and then we add Zadorov and everyone forgets how to play??? I can understand Lohrei (last game was bad) as he's young but the others? Woof!
 
I watched the entire Celtics game from last night on DVR this morning.

I’d rather be watching Bruins in May and June, but at least I will have something to get into.

I watched every game, even during the 2005 through 2007 seasons. I will continue to watch, or we have the games on his background noise, even as they fall out of contention.

Much more interested in talking about the moved they make to address the roster moving forward though.

On the flipside, I’m pretty interested to see if the Rangers can make a run.

There is no Bergy around to try to keep the lid on the unnecessary penalty pot for Marchy.

I’m just hoping to see the kids as well. Would love to see Lysell out there with Frederic on the 3rd or Marchand on line 2. Not sure where I’d put Merk but I absolutely want to see him. Also I’d be fine with trading one of our depth d if teams come calling. If we do I’d like to see more Callahan.

Love Marshy but for those of us who watched the movie Finding Nemo, he’s a shark and always will be a shark

In the movie the 3 sharks tried to become vegetarian but at the drop of blood they were who they are

Marchand has been benched, was in the news over the Pastrnak controversy he spent 5 minutes addressing

He is getting bad penalties making unprofessional moves (grabbing that d bag Cousins throat open hand was not a good look)

He needs a 2-3 month vacation

I’m GM my objective is he’s here for years

I need to figure the yearly amount and term

If he has to have say a $1 more then Swayman or even at Lindholm then not happening

I’m probably going his current amount year to year

Also, if they are retooling - and they are nuts/delusional if think otherwise

I want to send him to Vegas or Colorado with a hand Shake/wink he’s coming back on July 1

They could add minimum a couple of second round picks and a prospect
