Brock Boeser is exactly what this team needs. However, I'd be tempted to pull the trigger on a Miller deal IF the Bruins could unload one (if not both) of the Lindholms. Hampus Lindholm was born to be a Canuck!

You would think Sweeney is feeling the heat and would pull the trigger on a couple of moves. Even if he’s trying to make moves and can’t, you’d at least think there would be a couple of trade rumors out there. It’s quiet.

I liked the 10 by marchy, I think he needs to stop the fun an laughs leadership style and turn to angry and mad. His pregame warmup works if you're good, it seems stupid when you suck... this isn't fun or happy times, this is angry and sad times. Hopefully they ship someone out to a place like buffalo, don't reward any of these fools with a trade to a contender.

Bitching about Zadorov and his penalties are justified, but don't tell me those penalties the last two games from Marchand were not as dumb and selfish as you can get.

YES GOOD CALL. I have been reading about whether or not he wants to re up there so assumed he was a UFA

Don’t think it’s schematic, they’re just not dialed in. Same reason they let up goals in rapid succession.

Let's face it...we have enjoyed watching some really good competitive regular season teams with relatively no worry...I'm in for some adversity as should be the players. Perhaps this will make them hungrier and prepared come playoff time.

It's probably a combination of both.

I'll just use two examples from last night. In the 2nd period the puck ends up on Lohrei's side of the defensive zone after McAvoy chased the puck carrier, Lohrei goes towards the puck carrier and McAvoy instead of switching off and covering the net, comes from behind Lohrei's shoulder and also attacks the puck carrier.

Another time McAvoy gets aggressive at the redline but the puck gets chipped past him. Lohrei goes over to become the next layer leaving the middle of the ice open. To me you want your forward backing up McAvoy there, let the LD cover the middle of the ice.

Hey Winter...sorry to hear. Hope all goes well and your wife recovers quickly with better paying better quality job/company. Sometimes this stuff happens to the best of us and end's up being a much better thing for everyone.
