Like, you're partly right and partly wrong. Like, if a goal for you is only half as "good" as a goal against would be "bad", it stands to reason you should err on the side of defence at a rate of 2:1. But that still means going for O zone pressure, yeah? Just not pinching D or other stuff. Like the flat-out turtle shit (say, 5:1 or more) is really a 6-on-5 strat at most. I haven't done the math but I bet you they absolutely converge.
