glad we won. that was an ugly win. compared to the mini 3-game winning streak, it seems to me the first pass out of our zone by the d-men has been way off, even with sergei back from his injury. AT isn't the answer long term, but i suspect they are going to wait till after the tournament to see if having Cooley (maybe even Durzi?) back will give us a full team and mini-winning streak going . . .

I am kind of glad he took some time off .. to get back to basics. because before he left it was about the one timer which missed a lot and everyone knew it was coming

now he is using his wrister which is very accurate very fast .. and even if the goalie sees it , sometimes you just can’t stop it.

I was worried seeing him down on that third line , but man with his shot who cares? He is a game breaker

Maybe you are over valuing some of Utah's talent?

Don't take it too literally. I just meant that they're capable of moving the puck around great but don't score enough. They make a lot of great plays that never materialize into goals. Great playmakers, bad goal scorers type of thing.

I don’t think many people lost faith in BA ( well maybe some)

I think most question AT.. he gets the team going and then is everyone s friend until they lose 4 in a row .. rinse and repeat..

He needs to raise the standard of what is acceptable and what’s not . He can’t be happy with a win .. he needs to raise the bar

He needs to hold people accountable.. not just the young guys ( Cooley)

Now he finally scratches Crouse.. better late than never..

It sure was, a shot right above the pads is a prime shooting target. In this case, high may have worked better, but normally that glove is higher up.

I have no doubt, this team appears to be exactly where it should be imo. But, folks grow impatient and wanna make changes. Seems odd to me, when building through the draft, I think it's prudent to have more of those pics on the ice for a minute prior to thinking the team should be at fruition.

I agree that the talent level is about where is should be, given the draft choices & team make up after Chayka/Tocchet.
But…. do they play to, or even exceed ( now and then) that talent level ?
I’m not sure. Maybe.
