What trade value? Former 20G scorer turned into a less than 20 pts. player that doesn't do anything else to provide value to the team other than filling a roster spot.
The seasons over from a playoff perspective. How do we build for the future, if trading Crouse is an option, he needs to play and get going, might have a buyer at the TDL. If he sits, we get less value if he is traded at the TDL. BA knows he has to show case players he might trade, this doesn't help, which is why I think there is no way he gets traded at the TDL.

I think they hold on to Crouse for the entire season anyways because any offers would be so underwhelming. If there's any chance he redeems himself a bit over the remainder of the season and improves his trade value then they can get more for him in the offseason maybe. Or even be better off keeping him if he finally figures it out.

I don't see motivation to sell at rock bottom without being patient in hopes he gets better. You always want to put a rush on things and I don't think rushing on this is necessary at all. Best return is all I care about. Like you said, playoff hopes are gone for this season already anyways.

Crouse is a throw in trade piece right now, I'd guess. Used to get a bigger deal done.

Crouse might just be having an off year, maybe he has not been put in a good position to succeed, Macelli as well. I don't think either has forgotten how to play. I am not saying we should trade him now or sell low, just saying a TDL trade is off the table now with BA benching him at this time.

You can't trade Crouse at the moment because of his play, his value is rock bottom.

Geeze you guys are a bunch of vultures....

Nice to see Crouse admit to his shit play. Need a few more players to speak up as well.

I think both BA and AT like Crouse.

This is the problem. He should of been benched months ago. Every time he's seen floating bag skate the next day. After 3 bag skates if no improvement the entire team has to bag skate.. or trade his heartless ass

It’s not you can’t trade him…. you have to want to.

Good leaders own up to their foul ups.

He wouldn’t have been given an “A” if they didn’t.

What I noticed about Crouse while watching him at the Mullett last yr and the year before was what appeared to be not only slow skating, but a lack of stamina. Nothing personal intended. To me it was very obvious while watching from the arena seats.

We gain offensive firepower and PP production at the cost of weakening our PK.

Given our propensity to have someone stationed in the penalty for most of the game this could be interesting.
