They need him up there making plays, with Miller doing God's work. Better than doing another chapter of the bromance.

Lavi didn't need to break up the line with Cuylle and Smith. That line was cooking, the puck just wasn't going in for them.

Literally nothing has changed in Zibanejad's game (he's been mostly good since Christmas no matter how much some people want to argue otherwise) except the puck started to go in while he was on the ice.

Upgrading at C and then having worse depth at the position than before is the most galaxy brained shit that Lavi as done as a coach here and he willingly deploys Lindgren next to Fox.

Yeah, I figured the whole point of getting Miller was to have pretty ridiculous center depth.

Instead, we blew a giant hole in the lineup.

That only works if Mika was effective as a center, he has been garbage all year with the exception of a few games of "not THAT bad". hiding him on the wing wasn't the worst idea in the world. The real problems cannot be fixed mid season. Probably not even this offseason. this is an institutional issue that will take a few years to "fix".

Any success is luck and bounces until there's fundamental change.

Kreider is one if my alltime favorite Rangers, and just a season ago one of the best contracts in the NHL. But now he has reached useless level, he's completely lost it. Just trade him.
