Should be an interesting game Flames played better on their road trip but have lost their last 3, they aren't making the playoffs this year. Same lineup for the Jets means that Barron got off the toilet or maybe not, could be others fighting him for it

Thanks for the GDT @Section 325 ...

The Jets for the most part do not fair well in matinees...

I think they will be ready... a decent gap since the Nuck'lehead beating...

I just want to share something my Uncle Jim sent me... a bit of family history... this picture...

My Uncle Ed who passed away in the fall of 2019 is the young man sitting in the front row on the far right. This is Ed's Bantam team, the ’North Ward’ of Kitchener. Ed would have been 12 here and My Uncle Chuck was the coach. This team would basically stay together and go on to win the Ontario championship 4 years later as Juvenile players. Earl ‘Dutch’ Reibel would go on to the NHL where he was a winner of the Lady Byng Trophy for the most sportsmanlike player. More famously, he was the only lineman of Gordie Howe’s who scored more goals in one season than Howe scored. Ed and Earl were best of friends. My Uncle Ed was one hell of a defenseman and played hockey for many years after he started running his successful businesses. Ed won a Super Senior World Championship in Moscow against an American squad with a number of his buddies when he was in his 70's. He had to play most of the game because they were down to 11 players in the final.

I didn't know this story of his Bantam team and best friend... until this photo was sent to Me yesterday...

Go Jets Go !!!

What a lovely bit of history!

Thank you for sharing the photos and wonderful family insight.

Celebrating my daughter’s 12th Birthday today “family and friends” version so day drinking incoming. Extremely light drinking crowd so I’ll need to go hard to lift the group up to average.

Last time we did this party during a Jets game they lost so hopefully a bounce back moment.
Ah, the great memories of that 12th birthday party. For most of us, the last birthday you can enjoy with your friends before the topic of boys begins to infiltrate your conversations.

Hope you have lots of aspirins!
