I don't think Mitts deserved to get that low TOI tonight, he didn't do anything wrong. But even if he had played poorly, you find a way to get Parssinen get more ice time, he was fantastic tonight,

Mitts needs to be gone. Just for efforts sake. LOC hasn't been great recently but he's still buzzing around. Mitts just often looks like he's nowhere to be found. And for a guy that SHOULD be in that 4th best forward area. He's looking worse than replacement level players. I f***ing wish we had Byram at this point just because it'd be nice to push some of these guys on defense out.

IIRC it has been asked before, either last year or the year before and he scoffed at the question. He suggested these are "top tier athletes" and they should be able to handle the minutes he gives them.

Best Avs game I’ve seen in a while.

I see everyone railing on Mitts (and probably deservedly so) but I’m impressed how all the lines contributed tonight.

Makar has turned it up a notch lately and watching MacKinnon/Necas play together is just plain fun.

I just think 4 shots is too few for Mack. I think honestly that's my biggest complaint in this game. With Mikko gone he should be firing it at least 7 times a game now. Necas will drive the play more than Mikko ever has, maybe he's still getting used to that, but pull the damn trigger more.
