Team just looks different with Necas' speed.

They didn't look that different in the last two games, and he was a part of the team already.

They shot more, and they moved more on the powerplay. That has nothing to do with personel specifically. This is a tactical transition.

He was waiting to see what the ref was going to decide.

Drury had one leg over the boards just staring back at Bednar.

As soon as the refs confirmed the faceoff was staying in our zone, Bednar gave Drury the “yeah, go” signal.

I f***ing love little shit like that about players like Drury.

Knows his role, always alert, following every detail of the game and waiting for the coach’s call. High, high IQ.

His linemates Wood and Colton were sticking their thumbs up each others asses and hopped up when they saw Drury go out.

You just know that Wood and Rosco have shock collars that buzz them when it's time to do something. They have no f***ing clue what they're even doing out there so they need guidance.

They didn't play poorly last game. Just had dumb breakdowns from guys like Girard and the terrible bottom pairing.

Necas has added a much needed boost. That also helps MacKinnon, who longer needs to be the one carrying the puck up the ice and into the o-zone anymore.

I very much like Necas and what he brings, but he didn't cause the Avs to put out the biggest shooting gallery of the season today. Or actually make the #1PP start moving their feet, because it didn't in the last two games. That's coaching.
