On a very emotional night, the atmosphere in the building was buzzing. That felt like a very emotional win.

Loved the chants of we want Fleury. Don't think tv does the crowd much justice after watching the highlights

What a monster game by Sandy, Stu, Brady. Was hoping Perron would be LTIR so we can sign a better FA and he comes back in the playoffs in a lesser role. Hope Norris and Stu can be 100% by Monday. If Stu’s eye swells up it could be difficult for him to dominate again.
Looks more like ribs than shoulder to me based on the hit. I was yelling at the screen to dump it in and then that happens.

Previous high was Colorado vs. Anaheim at +30. New record was set tonight at +36. Insane domination.

Ottawa is five points out of first place in the Division. Nice to see Josh Norris take that huge slap shot again, hopefully he's not injured too badly & can come back, we need that shot back. Norris, Pinto & Greig have been awesome for this team, the young guys have finally arrived. Great Game.

We didn't pay on the home opener. Thought it was just a free parking night. No ticket. Personally I think it's a bad idea to be doing parking this way. Why am I going to spend intermission paying for my parking? Pay for some attendants like normal.
What a vibe at the game tonight. The boys were flying and the rink was rocking. Great fan turnout.

Not shocked in the slightest with his dirty plays - he has been doing this slimy stuff for years.
Hope your boy Stutzle is ok.

Loved the visual of the Lightsaber promo, I was concerned about how drunks would handle them, but it mostly was pretty safe except for an incident or two.
Speaking of which, does anybody have an update on the guy in the crowd who lost an eye after the Stutzle goal?
I wanted to counter with a "We Want Forsberg" chant, but I didn't think anybody would get it.

Glad that happened to you. An awesome experience for your son that he will remember forever.
Ottawa fans set a good example for the fans of the other Canadian franchises tonight.
Who would’ve thought this in the off-season, realistically.
And who would’ve thought we’d have a league leading 8 shutouts across the team.
And who would’ve thought we’d be doing as well as we are without Linus!
I thought that was disappointing given our high number of American players.

Sanderson, yet again the best Senator. He was remarkable both sides of the puck. Best game as a Senator. Seems like i've said that a few times lately.
The perfect time for him to get hot. Not a coincidence it's since Zub's back and he can focus on not playing 1.5 D man.
Manti is a revelation. Gotta keep him at all costs. That's a solid 3rd pairing.
I liked Perron tonight, quite a bit. He adds a big body possession game along the boards that Norris and Batherson desperately need. Also has a playmaking touch. Keep them there.
