This game is a premonition. You see Pitt dropping to 4th? Moving to 1st (i kind of do)?

This is a playoff game and what it will be like come April. We need to figure out how to break through against this kind of defense in particular to make it to the 2nd round.

I speculated a couple of weeks ago that Chytil may have quietly asked to be moved. He's had short stints (centering Kreider and Buch, playing RW with Bread and Strome) where he seemingly thrived, only to be bumped back down to 3rd/4th line minutes. At this point, it's been two different coaches and it seems clear that he isn't going to be given a chance to stick in a top six role. Wouldn't surprise me if he asked for a move (and based on how professional he's been in the past, it wouldn't surprise me if he's kept quiet/patient about it). This based on nothing but speculation.

We havent figured it out all season 5v5. Our PP has kept us up in the standings with Shesty ofc.

Games like this are good measuring sticks to see where the team is at. We need a top 6 center badly. Hopefully Drury makes adjustments before the deadline.

The pens haven't impressed me at all. We struggle to generate chances & we'll continue to struggle until we upgrade the top 9. We need two additions to this roster before the deadline.
