Well that was a first period.

Expect the Isles to come out much stronger in the second, the coach will have cleared the girls from Chez Paree out of the locker room.

Well
Gallagher isn't a top 6er NOW anyways lol
But we gotta look at it more as top9 players over top6 right now
Meaning right now Farrel would most likely start 3rd line
And right now RHP is top lining it cuz we can right now, but on a healthy and good team, reverts back top 3rd or 4th line, which he has shown, can still excel at, since he hasn't taken that gallagher beating all over his body yet
He hasn't been top 6 since Danault left and took Gallagher's role with him.

I hear you, but it's an even bigger problem to have small players in bottom 6.
The checking line/s needs to have some size, as does top 6.
Hockey still remains a physical, exhausting game.
Habs might get away with Elite, small guys like Farrell and CC in top 6 scoring roles, but the rest of those line better be filled with big guys who can create space and win pucks.
the Gallagher situation is a fiasco. Imagine 6+ mil, small broken checker for the next 4 years.

I miss Romy. Seeing him touched the way he was...wished we would have the chance to keep him. Not dissing the trade though. Just saying that the kid himself...would hvae been neat to keep him.
Maybe we'll be able to bring him back one day.

Gallagher will be hurt every year, it is what it is sadly, he'll barely play 50 games a year anymore (hell he won't even play 50 THIS year and this was supposed to be his big comeback year)
He will never be in our top 6 again
What FREAKS me out is he gets PP time... like.. I just can't believe that

Other then that, I agree, can't stay too small, but RHP is a 3 year thing not a 10 year thing you know

Agreed on both fronts.I guess we'll see. I imagine they will have to make decisions on RHP and Gallagher. Maybe they trade gallagher at some point using some of those picks as a sweetener
