They brought in all these analytics guys and advanced stats have klaxons at full blare saying Skinner isn’t good enough and the verbal is “looking for a top 4D and depth forwards”. Sure, they need those too but goalie is priority #1 and not even a peep that they feel that way

Aside from their goaltending, this can’t be a very reassuring game for Leaf fans. Spotted goals with bad goaltending on our end + thoroughly getting outplayed and outshot without our best defenceman.

It’s early on Klingberg but I think he could be useful but not in a top 4 role. Needs to be sheltered.

4 million a year for skinner going forward is an overpay even with the increase in cap.

Skinner is a budget option and I support him at that level.

If it comes down to having to pay him real bucks... Im not sure we can justify it.

What's Bowman's MO on this? Holland wouldn't really give anything away in advance. I'm hoping he's just keep quiet about what he wants and is working in the background.
