You'd think a guy who loves kicking out rebounds like he does would work on tracking the puck... how he can NEVER see the five foot rebound he just coughed up is unbelievable.
Moving your left foot till you hit/feel the post on that one goal too, the guy is a sloth in net.

He just really refuses to shoot. I remember us being all excited when he started to one time pucks. Now he just passes everywhere. Deeply frustrating.
Started right near the end of the season in 22-23, where it was reported he had an undisclosed upper body injury. He actively avoids shooting now, there has to be some lingering mechanical injury there.

With NHL goalies being goalies, this is a tie game yet.

At least they can drive an hour to Toronto even when they are in Toronto!

This team doesn't have an identity. Last 3 years we were a fast, hard, forechecking team- the fastest in the league and one of the biggest. First line had Mcdavid and Hyman which are a nightmare for D to play against. Then on come Draisaitl and Kane, who are you stopping? Then Foegele Mcleod and Holloway had warts but they were pure speed and transition, which continued the onslaught. This team now has 29, and 97 who looks REALLY off this season- nobody else to rely on aside from that, and the rest of the guys- Janmark, Arvidsson, Henrique, Brown, Podz- more or less cardio merchants who kill time until the big boys can come back on again. Our depth feels like the Kassian-Chiasson years again.
They have the third best record In the league what is this nobsense?

I'm not sure what Stu's deal is on those dump in's that die in our end around the hash marks and no one around. He just camps in his net and hopes his dman wins the race. I've seen it a number of times this year. It's starting to piss me off because it is such an obvious play for a competent goalie. Take a couple strides out and clear it away.

His puck handling is one of his biggest weaknesses (with lateral movement and rebound control). He can’t handle the pressure to do something like that

Crazy how the canucks roll in lankinen and flames roll in Wolf and we got nothing. Lankinen was a free pick up. Why didn't we get in on lankinen?

Offer the canucks a 2nd and a scrub for lankinen now.

I remember texting Gregor about him- holy hell Gregor went on a 5 minute rant defending him. When multiple GMs and coaches have been fired and no one has even whispered your name- you’re the second most powerful person in the organization
Gregor is a f***ing hack too. Maybe Schwartz is the only person he knows inside the organization.

did Woll ever look like he was under duress??
what are you talking about? who cares if you are in the other zone when it amounts to nothing.
It amounted to 5 shots in the first 5 minutes. Woll is playing well. The Oilers looked energized until that muffin and the second goal went in on the 5th shot of the game.

Because he can play great games every so often, is from Edmonton and has a cool stache! Why should anyone ever expect more?
