The more time Skinner has spent with vampire Schwartz, the worse his game has become. He barely can track pucks or corral rebounds now. Seems like a pretty obvious negative linear relationship.

Unfortunately, Schwartz seems to be bulletproof in this org. All the talking heads won't even entertain any criticism of a goalie coach that has a decade of making Oilers goalies worse.

Was it 5 shots to 1 to start the game? Then the leafs scored on the 2nd or 3rd shot? Lol
Yea the Oilers had spent the entire game in the offensive zone until that weak penalty.

Oh well, with Ekholm out it seems like whatever is ailing the team is getting worse. Not surprised they continue to look slow.

that didn't happen though
Yes it did. We were outplaying them.

His apologists will say no we didn't lol. We were much better than them. Then these trash officials and SKinner showed up

I'm so done with Arvidsson and several guys in our middle 6 who bring nothing man, just a whole bunch of skating around, falling, and one and done's.
It feels like we just have to keep playing these guys because for instance Arvidsson is signed past this season so we "gotta get him going"

Games like this are proof that Skinner’s so called good stats are a product of the Oilers strong defensive system. On a night like tonight where the teams best defenseman is out of the lineup and the team is trying to break in another defenseman who hasn’t played in a year and a half Skinner can’t stop a beach ball and looks like he’s in panic mode every time the puck is in the Oilers end. He’s let in a weak wrist shot and coughed up the puck on two weak shots he should have been able to control the rebound and stop the play. It’s an embarrassing result from a guy who can’t step up on a rare night that his team needs him. He’s a joke, pretending he’s something else isn’t helping this team.
