Years and years ago I was playing summer here hockey in Niagara, Canada. I was on a team with some ex-Junior players. One guy played with some eventual Sabres and stayed good friends with them. This league had some local pros playing in it, just getting skates in over the summer.

I get a call one day as they are putting the team together. The guy on the phone says to me " I got some Sabres and its down to you and Miro Satan" I said "pardon". He came back "I need an answer soon as he can only play about 10 games. I told him " Well, his resume is a little better than mine, lol. I think I will pass this year". So yeah my story is I cut myself for Satan. I may need an exorcism!!

Sabres are the exact opposite of the Bruins. Young and fast and can score quickly on any shot BUT they are soft as butter and can break down easily on defense. Beat them with net front pressure but do not take them lightly.

Watching the media interviews with McAvoy and Hampus yesterday, it was very obvious that both had colds. Obviously neither is playing at the moment, but there is clearly something going around the locker room that has already struck down at least Frederic and Coyle, and now Carlo. Curious to see where the team's energy levels are at tonight. Hopefully they're ok because there's an important 2 points on offer.

And hopefully we can find some offense other than from our top line. Much as I've enjoyed seeing those guys produce, they need some support.
