The Bruins are 9-13-3 on away games, not home ice! 16-7-3 on home ice!

I think this will be a very difficult game. The shorthanded d corps will give up a couple of easy ones. I would have played one of 73 or 27.
Yeah I mean it's one thing to play without 73 and 27 against the Lightning, Senators, Devils and Avalanche. Sabres are a completely different story. Hope they can keep the game within 5 goals.

I thought the Sabres would finally grab a playoff spot this year but instead, they are once again dead last in the East

The last time Buffalo made the playoffs was when the Bruins won the Cup in 2011.

Finishing 3rd in the NHL in goals scored and still not qualifying for the post-season. That is a rare feat.

In 2022-23, the Sabres scored just 8 less goals than the regular season record setting Bruins who were 2nd in goals scored.

Ugg. The thought of them trading Brad makes me sick.

I don't see it happening. The Bruins would need to clearly be out of the playoff race by the TDL for it to even be a thought. Even if they are, it doesn't happen unless Marchand wants to be traded and there are no plans to bring him back after the season. Could they trade him and then re-sign him in the off-season? sure but Marchand doesn't seem like the kind of guy that puts himself before the team. Would he really want to leave just to chase a ring with someone else, only to return in the off-season? I don't think so, but then again I'm not Marchand. He has an opportunity to do something that not many players get to do, and that's play for one team your entire career.

The teams outside of the playoff picture can make life difficult for those trying to get in at this time in the season - they play more loosely because they have nothing to lose. Lately there have been quite a few upsets around the league, we definitely see more of it as the season grinds down. The Bruins really need these two points, so hopefully they play well and grab them.

Question...if Marchy is in fact traded...who's our next Captain?🤔

As for the game:
Hard fought 3-2 win Bruins
Coyle, Geekie, Pasta
Pasta, hands down for me. Did you see his empty netter the other night? The determination he showed on the fore-check and never quitting after getting knocked down, which many would of. His last two empty net goals has showed just how far he's come defensively. Intercepted a pass in the d-Zone on the previous one. Pasta been a big time leader for this team, on the ice!

Well they lost on the road to the first 3 with one point to show with 14 goals against and have done it three familiar ways. Got stomped last road game, then blew a 2 goal lead in last 3:15 in prior roadie and in TB had the usual gaffes and played a bad 3rd period.

Their only recent road win the shot attempts were a couple of hundred to 37 and Swayman won the game.

This team has had a bad habit of playing poorly on the road, so that opinion isn't ridiculous a all.

The idea that we need to rush back an injured defenseman to play the third worst team in the league is certainly a bit ridiculous.

If they needed the win to make the PO you seriously think #73 wouldn't play? His statement is grounded in how that D Corp has played on the road and taken what's looking like #73 imminent return. Not "ridiculous" but closer to not an opportune time.
