Trust me, I'm quick to not blame a goalie and I don't "fault" him here. I'm not saying it was a bad goal that he gave up, but he had a clean look at it. Those are the kind of saves you need from your #1.
It was a 102 mph bomb from 40 feet away, No goalie stopping that, unless it just hits him and Swayman positioning was pretty spot on.

But how's he supposed to save it? What can he have done to stop that that he didn't do? Even great goalies get beaten by those sort of shots all the time.

I’ve got no beef with Sacco, I just feel the team is listless rudderless under him. A bunch of individuals pressing on offense and scrambling on defense. Just a mess.

I can’t imagine Sweeney feels they’re gonna find it under Sacco…they need a coach with a proven system every player can buy into and play as a unit.
Not sure what coach could do more with this roster.

With what Monty / Sacco inherited, reminds me of the crap roster Sinden gave Burns in 2000-01. Sinden expected the team to adopt an aggressive attack style and Burns compared it to having to "hunt a bear with a butter knife". He didn't last long afterwards but the same ole "blame the coach" for the GM's inadequacies.

Just got in. 3-1 buffalo! Is it that bad?

It's that frustrating. The Bruins have been outworking them, especially in the 2nd, but generating few scoring chances.

And Buffalo has had 3 goals where Boston just played no defense.
