Lindholm gets a lot of flak here because of that contract (again like Coyle what was he supposed to do, turn it down?) but I cut him slack because he was injured during camp & apparently is still wearing additional protection which hampers stickhandling. Plus he's adjusting to a new team's system and life in a new city. You can usually write off the first year of a UFA contract for the latter reason alone.

Yeah I think it's fair to be patient with him. Not ideal, but can only hope he turns it around.

On the lingering injury though, that one baffles me a bit. If he's that compromised that it seems he can barely shoot, should he even be playing? And why do they keep him in the damn bumper spot on the PP? Just bizarre.
