MtL have too many like Dach, Laine, Armia, Dvo who buy in on their own time

Wilds have better top 6 depth though

Kaprisov, Boldy, Rossi, Zuck and Ek are all proven top 6 talent. I think they have a better top 3 on defense too.

Ideally I'd like to see him take over 3C when Dvo's gone and stick Dach on the wing with him on the 3rd line.
I don't think Slaf has the raw talent or really thinks the game fast enough currently to be part of a high end 1st line. I could see Demidov taking that spot from him over the course of next season.

Laine - Dach - Newhook is not the line tbh. Laine can't drive his line and Dach is a offensive blackhole, Newhook is good but he would need to be "the dude" on that line which is a bit too much to ask imo. Put Laine in line with Suzuki before everyone, including MTL fans will start sayin Laine sucks because he can't score 5v5.

There is nothing in his game that makes you happy with him as a 3C. Doesn't bring physicality or a sound defensive game. We need someone else.

Laine and Newhook are really ineffective. Dach is looking ok; there isn't much he can do playing with those two with the way they're playing.
