Yeah lets criticize the guy who has 5 goals in his last 6 games and leads the nhl in scoring goals by 7 for not being able to..score goals. Idk wtf is wrong with him these days.

The guy has basically the same career stats as Mikko Koskinen. Should the team have kept him?

At a cap hit that was $1.9M higher when the cap was lower? That would just be fiscally irresponsible.

Can see why the Wings are bad, seem to be a no possession counter punch team. Those never do well unless they PDO to the gills

And relies too much on one line and red hot power play. Even with their winning record since the coach change, the Wings have been severely outplayed by most playoff teams, only bullying the bad teams. They usually win through a combination of 3 of the following 4 against said playoff teams:

Elite goaltending
Opponent goalies playing terribly
Somehow elite finishing
Insane bounces.

Sleepy Stu Skinner sighting. Man this guy. Twice this game he's almost let in 100ft shots. Not sharp. Another save he was lucky was shaft of stick. Wings most of the game hardly even getting a shot and here we are tied.

Terrible hockey game. Wings putting all the Oilers to sleep. Little bit done with guys like Arvid as well. Guy might score a goal once a month.

Fair enough, but he's missed some really egregious chances lately. The post on the empty net against Buffalo, two posts with a gaping cage last game, same thing this game. Hopefully the break will give him an opportunity to recalibrate his shooting.

Gonna take some time for Klingberg to get his timing back and find that mid season compete but he hasn’t looked over matched which is good.

Boys need to push in the third, they fell asleep on the two goal lead that period instead of stomping Detroit out and putting it away.
