I mean I suspect they still think they're better with a sick Ekholm in the line up and I also suspect he wants to play.

Maybe, I think him getting a look with Nurse is fine, Kulak will get some shifts, they trust Emberson, they can ease him back in.

Exactly! I mean the biggest thing that will likely be an issue with Klingberg is speed. Nurse has plenty of speed to burn. Good combo imo.

The only thing I think is questionable is scratching Kapanen for Janmark. I imagine the fact that Janmark can play centre is probably a factor but I’d much rather see a Kapanen-Philp-Perry line.

But I guess every coach has “his guys” and Janmark looks like one of them. I’m just thankful he’s not a black hole and can PK.

Excited for Klingberg tonight. The personal journey he had to go on to get back to the NHL is very impressive. Even if he can get back to 70% of the player he was, it would be a huge addition to the team. Heres to hoping!

So Ekholm sounds sick as a dog and Nurse was a game time decision the other night due to illness? Safe to say there's something going through the team again. Not surprising that guys would come down with something as a consequence of that ridiculous road trip.

Agreed, just a little worried how the physical play goes for him. Hoping for the best.
