Shut the f*** up about Phil Housley, Phil Housley did not make Adam Fox ignore fundamental defense as shown on live TV in color.

Just like Scott Arniel didn't make them not be able to hold the puck in on the PP and Mark Ciaccio didn't make them bad at passing or hitting the top corner. Blaming coaches outside of very narrow strategic areas like retrievals and breakouts is such smoothbrain shit.

Housley thought the defense was playing well, he sucks as a d coach. An ape with a dry erase could come up with a better defensive strategy.

nah it's valid to wonder why a guy who couldn't play defense is coaching defense, especially when the defense looks exactly like phil housley trying to cover in his own zone

I'm still blaming Ciaccio for our lack of offense, even though he was assigned to a new position in the organization.

Big fan of the Barrell Craft stuff. If you like the foundation and haven’t tried their seagrass or vantage offerings, you should.

CK shouldn't be playing based on what I see. Guys that are no where near as strong as he is have no problem skating through him. I don't know what is wrong but that isn't a laziness issue I have seen today on CK. Its a guy who can barely skate.

Meh. I don’t think you can assign blame to one specific person. It’s the coaches job to root out the players bad habits. It’s the players responsibility to adapt to what they are being coached on.

Right now it looks like neither are doing their jobs. Resulting in a cluster f*** of a season where everyone is scratching their head as to why the rangers are where they are right now.
 
And people are complaining about defense. We've allowed two 5 on 5 goals. We had 2 f***ing shots and 0 f***ing chances in the second period. It's not the defense that's trash. Might have had some push offensively if Miller joined Smith and Cuylle and put Mika down on the third line. No we need to nuke the entire forward lines and put Mika on the first line because clearly the millionth line combination would get him going. Laviolette is the biggest problem with this team. And the mental makeup is 1B.
