I remember when my mom finally started letting me deal with getting up on my own in about 5th grade & I got to the point where I didn't need an alarm clock. About 3 months in I got up one chilly morning, got all bundled up & made my way to the bus stop. I left my house a few minutes earlier than usual, but on this day I was the first kid to make it to the bus stop(even before Larry Brooks). After waiting about 10 minutes for other kids & the bus to show up, only then did I realize it was f***ing Saturday. It was simultaneously the best & worst feeling ever.
