Yep. He was miffed earlier too when they were allowing point blank opportunities. He's given up 3 tonight, but it's understandable based on so many quality opportunities allowed.

And tonight's performance kind of wipes out the favorable impressions of the last 2. 6-8 since the streak. Lose tonight 6-9. Almost 20% of a season. Tell again how they are a real good team. Keep up the pace of the last 15 and the playoffs are a maybe.

So what do you think, how red are their ears going to be when they come back from the intermission? Devils' feed had a great 1 second glimpse of Torts after that last goal. While he was holding his composure, you could see he was absolutely seething inside.

The poor play has been most evident in the defensive end the past 3 weeks. It is the same again tonight. Poor coverage, waving at guys, not clearing rebounds or tying up sticks. I know the team is getting shut out, and I'm not suggesting that's not a problem. But to me eyes, the problem starts in their own zone.
