I imagine the new owners have every incentive to try to do what Vegas did. Or at least if not winning a cup being highly competitive in their first seasons to really entrench them.

For sure, try to go for it a little in season 1 as a way to generate excitement. They're right there and their situation isn't far off the Senators atm. The West wild card isn't as competitive as the East and the teams ahead of them (Calgary/Vancouver/Colorado) haven't been spectacular, so I'd expect they'll at least stay the course and see what happens.

We have only played Utah HC once which was a shutout. Seattle twice which were also both shutouts. Crazy

This makes me wonder, do we lead the league in Shutouts + times being Shutout?

Edit: I quickly looked and we've got 7 shutouts on the season and from quickly scanning game logs I see 6 games where we've been shut out.

That second line of Giroux Norris and Perron looks awful. Very little speed or puck carriers. Best case is Giroux sets up Norris for some shots while Perron is being a dick to opposing team defenders

Didnt realize Utah was considered an expansion team as opposed to continuing the Arizona team. I guess like Ottawa, the city keeps the team records. That seems a good idea to me
