I’m expecting Calgary to be the toughest of the trio because Dustin Wolf has been realgud. If we can go 1-1-1 and get 3 points then it’ll be an acceptable trip. (I’m going to the Canucks game, so hopefully they win that)

Calgary may be the toughest game, but they play Seattle the next night in Seattle for a B2B, they may view the Seattle game as more important one to win (divisional) than the home game vs the wings, so just maybe the wings may not see Wolf.

I watch some of the Oilers game last night, they will be a real test for the wings...would be sweet if the wings can pull out 6 points of the 8 up for grabs on the 4 game road swing, that should get them back in a good spot the playoff race mix.

Every game is difficult in its own way, but I am very encouraged as the team has played the right way. I am specially glad that Kasper and Johansson play the right way.


Btw, what is our record without Kane?

He was steady (conservative) and certainly not a liability out there, had a few good hits (one big one) and a few steals, made a couple of pinch covers, showed some pace to his game, seemed to be the perfect call up to me.

That's 1 element that I feel we're still missing from days of old - physical toughness.

Jerkoff teams like Tampa and Ottawa wanna get rough - alrightly then lets oblige and get Nucking Futs; run their top players, whack the goalie, intimidate them!

Agree, it is very annoying to be Red Wings fan, because of all that negativity and stupidity you read on forum

In his defense it was likely the Wings being down by 2 when that post was made...How many times have we seen this team claw it's way back?

Maybe now under McLellan things will continue to change for the better.

It's the regular season schedule like this that's a good test for the boys - this is what they would likely face if they made the playoffs.
