Gauthier is so bad at holding onto the puck and making plays. If he was on the 4th line it'd be whatever, he'd have some utility there but that line needs someone who can make some plays.

I don't like the day to day experience of watching him because how could I, but I do think it makes sense to keep going with a guy who has speed and draws a lot of penalties with this kind of team

I'm really missing Kakko right now watching Gauthier play. Too bad Kravtsov didn't realize how bad Gauthier is otherwise he would have realized in a week or two he would have been called up.

I don’t think this is just an oversight from Kravtsov as everyone is chalking it up to... the kid wants out of this org and would rather play in the KHL than NYR/HFD

He's gonna have to power through that reluctance if you all want a Jones-Schneider pairing. Guys in the top 4 are gonna take minor penalties every once in a while.

Not saying you're wrong but how is this possible we have one of the youngest teams in the league not the country club of the early 2000's? I hope once the playoffs start you will see some of that energy or at least for upcoming divisional games.

Overall this season I think guys like Kreider and Zibby have brought it for the most part. Panarin and Strome not so sure. But how about the younger guys like Gauthier, Chytil, Hunt, Laf... they should be busting butt every shift.

it's excuse after excuse. They need to have up tempo practices then. We truly look like a team that doesn't practice and overload on carbs and fat pre-game.
