MSL is doing a better job than most appreciate.

This roster is terrible, but that's tied to not having even one 25yr old+ player that is even relatively close to being quality top 6 or top pairing D.

MB left such an unbelievable mess, hard to believe some were still defending him when he got fired

But, much like when Beane & McDermott took over the mess in Buffalo (NFL), in year 1 you can already see the signs of the right culture being put in place. The young players are playing well & as they gain in experience & physical maturity, and HuGo keep slowly & methodically upgrading on MBs veteran contract crap, this is going to be a very good team.

Patience is so much easier when progress & competent leadership are visible!
