Team play has been ok but not great for the ideal January slump.

I'm very concerned about CMM, Strome, and Ovi's slumps. I think CMM is trade bait if he doesn't pick it up.

My first nhl game was Flames-Caps at US Air Arena, a 4-4 tie. They had some promotion that day and I got a free long sleeve Iafrate shersey.

Funny that the Flames uniforms have basically come full circle since then.

Timeless design really….

As much as people say the caps should follow suit, I think it’s a good choice to hold onto the current Uni’s for the duration of the Ovi era.

They can go back to classics when he’s hung em up or pivot to a new look and it’ll be like a clean break. New uniforms to go along with a new group of (hopefully) star players to build a new team identity around.

PLD clearly the teams best skater for a while now. Great shot and some great defensive plays so far tonight.

Of course the Caps best player for arguably the whole season is Logan Thompson, who is looking like a 6 million dollar man so far tonight. He’s the first goalie we’ve had in several years that I just expect to make the save on every shot.
