Goaltending is ugly, but not the only problem. I've never seen a team cough up as many odd man rushes or let other teams completely behind their defense before.

I should have specified I suppose. Clearly. Based on how we go about our regular seasons, and where we currently sit in the standings, we're a "playoff team". By "playoff team", I meant a team built to do damage in the post season, and play playoff hockey

I don’t see what others are seeing about our defence this game. As a whole?? Yea it has been a problem

but today has been totally goaltending

the 2nd and 3rd goals are 100% Campbell no one else

Even in general. We have been getting below replacement level goaltending for 2-3 months now. Every team in the league makes defensive mistakes and has turnovers that lead to odd man rushes. Tampa Bay has Vasi to cover up those mistakes. We had Jack covering up ours the first few months of the season. He turns into a sieve and all of a sudden our defense sucks. No we just are getting some of the worst goaltending in the entire league. It is a critical problem with this team.

Too many warts on this team. Built wrong, No D depth, No goaltending, Overpaid.........Dubas is gone, as is Shanny, Keefe and the boys.

I think we miss the equivalent of an identity line on the Islanders who will give you a benchmark work rate every game. You kinda just get a random mix of A Game B Game every period from players and its all over the map lately.
