I thought Grand Teton was in Wyoming.

Yes... the really big ones are in Northwest Wyoming...

Not suprisingly a Hole is situated further south....

Some guy named Jackson owns it or something...

Nino has 3 of the 5 goals we've scored against Utah so far this season. DeMelo and Vilardi with the others.

Winnipeg failed to score on the power play for the third consecutive game, however, they’ve only had three opportunities in those three
games… They were not awarded a power play Monday in Utah... It was the third time this season the Jets have not had a powerplay in a
game…The Jets have yet to be held scoreless on the power play this season in four straight games.

The Jets are an NHL-best 13-5-0 against the Central Division…
They have shut out Central teams in three of the past seven games…
Mark Scheifele leads the team against the Central with 14 points (6G, 8A).

Utah has earned a 7-6-2 record against the Central. Keller leads the team in scoring vs. the Central with 13 points (6G, 7A).

Utah is 2-4-0 on the second of B2B's.

Utah is 2-2-1 on Friday's
Jets are 4-1-1 on Friday's.

Neal Pionk scored the overtime winner just 17 seconds into extra time on Wednesday… That tied the second-fastest goal to start overtime
in franchise history behind Andrew Ladd (16 seconds on Mar. 30/12).

Winnipeg has held their opponents to under 30 shots in ten straight games, which is the longest run in franchise history… They are 21-5-2
when they hold their opponent to under 30 shots.

I believe this is the 3rd time the Jets have the advantage of playing a team that played the night before and the Jets didn't:

Oct 13 - vs Wild. Jets 2-1 in O/T. Wild played Seattle the night before.
Oct 18 - vs SJS. Jets 8-3. SJS Played Chicago the night before.
Dec 21 - vs Wild. Jets 5-0. Wild played Utah the night before.

Some Utah connections:

NYI 1987 1st round 13 overall - Dean Chynoweth
NYI 1988 1st round 16 overall - Kevin Cheveldayoff

Both played for the 93/94 Salt Lake Golden Eagles (IHL)

Chevy was the assistant coach of the Utah Grizzles for 2 seasons, 95/96 & 96/97. Head coach was Butch Goring.

Scott Arniel and Danton Cole played for that 95/96 team.

Speaking of powerplays, tonight's refs are Jean Hebert and our old pal, Francois St. Laurent.

Neither of these guys have officiated a Jets game this year. The past two years the Jets are 7-2-0 with Hebert and 2-1-0 with St. Laurent.

Bad news, that motherf***er Kyle Flemington is one of the linesmen tonight...just kidding, I have no beef with any NHL linesman in particular...yet...
