I mean, Razor is still annoying sometimes, says dumb stuff sometimes, and is lost on the rules sometimes.

Generally I only hate on him because people think he is a God at what he does when he is just OK. But of course anyone would take him over the crap ESPN put out.

Nah, Razor sucking less than ESPN isn't a reason to not critique him.
Things could always be worse than Razor, but why be happy with bad(razor) just because it could be pathetic(ESPN)

I do already listen to most away teams when I can, there's a few I avoid outright (Avs, wild,etc) but the problem with most of the other teams is a bad PbP guy, which razor was damn near bottom of the league when he actually did PbP

Most other teams don't have bad CC, Razor has been the weak link in our broadcast since before Ralph left. He's gotten more annoying over the years.
