I thought the Jackets were better in the previous few games than tonight. Once again, fundamentals don't match up with wins and losses in the short run.

Early in the Jackets inaugural season, we played the Canadiens in Montreal and beat them 2 - 0. Tugnutt was the goalie and the next day the newspapers said it was the most embarrassing loss in Montreal Canadien history. Things haven't changed much in their perception of losing to us.

After December 1st win against you guys(btw I posted here in your GDT saying that you guys wreaked our Cup hopes that game because bad Therrien emerged and reunited Pacioretty-DD), the Habs have gained only 11 points. The pace, if my math is correct, is about 39-40 points over the entire season.
You guys have 40 points in 50 games, and are poised to snatch another two tomorrow.

Even with Price in, the Habs aren't a true Cup contender. Too many mediocre playoff performers, a coach who has more than worn out his welcome, and a GM who might, dare I say it, commit to said coach next year to torture Habs fans even more. Tanking is the only way to have this torture come to an end as soon as possible.
We'll just see about that! You still fight da suck. You need to learn to EMBRACE da suck! We've had more practice at it.

Yeah, no. I get the frustration and all. But you and I both know you'd rather be in your position than ours. Tanking, or losing, is not acceptable nor is it an 'end to torture.'
Im ok with losing close games at this point because playoff hopes done and we need mathews more then any other team at this point. But MTL is the only team in the league I will never accept a loss to. I hate them more then any team in any professional sport. Also would like to add I would not now nor would I ever accept or cheer subban if he were on the jackets. I think he is a punk and I think he is the most over rated player not just at his position but overrated overall in the league. Its the same for guys like lucic, that rat looking **** on boston marchand, dustin brown and probably a few others I cant think of. Honestly guys like matt cooke and raffi torres arent bad to me because I dont think they have ever made a hit that was intentional to hurt someone or did something to tarnish the game and all of the guys I mentioned I hate have. I had the chance to meet lucic (was the only player I have ever seen in public to have a chance to meet) and I was standing there with my GFs family and they were all talking to him. it was for a grad from SFU when his brother graduated a few years back my GF knew his brother well from classes they took together over the 4 years and I just wanted nothing to do with it. some people you hate but would love on your team or some people you just hate during the game but would respect off the field... guys like PK and looch I have 0 respect for in anything period.
