Not a lot of hope for this one. Defense was already bad with McAvoy, without him it's just a farce.

If him and Lindholm being back doesn't make things better before the deadline we are well and truly screwed

The Bruins without McAvoy and Lindholm are far off from being even a playoff contender, add in Kastelic and TF and our physicality drops off the map. How does anyone expect the Bruins to survive when we are a low scoring team, terrible on ST's and now our 2 stud Dmen are out. We need to start looking at acquiring future assets. Even if the Bruins somehow against all odds scraped into the playoffs, we will be cannon fodder in round 1.

I seriously doubt that PO's will be on this season's calendar.

It was Sullivan that had the original post ,but neither one posted a clip of it ,I would think something would have been announced by now anyway if it was significant.
The linesman had a hold of Marchand collar and Marchy wanted to get back in the scrum so he brought his forearm down on the refs hand to break the hold wasn’t exactly smart but didn’t get an extra penalty or anything tho you kinda wondered if he’d be fined.

Well if they lose to Ottawa tonight they might as well just take a look in the mirror and say they are just not good enough. The wrong combination of size, defence, speed and goal scoring ability is obvious on this team. Elias Lindholm is a complete disaster at 7.75 mil per for .5 pt per game production.

Let's face it DS what you have now cannot be fixed with a couple of tweaks. This will not make this team a true contender let alone a playoff team.

Going to be a long drawn out rest of the season.
Lets trade Linholm back to Calgary for Kadri!

Both teams mailed in their last games in anticipation of this one. I expect it to feel like a playoff game, similar to last Saturday.

Both teams have holes and know only one is making the playoffs, if that.

So looking forward to it.

The wintry weather has been absolutely glorious in the south. I built my first snowman (at 56!), have experienced the joy of jumping rope in 46 degrees weather, saw dogs in heaven playing in the snow, heard little kids laughing when their parents lightly threw snowballs at them, etc.

So not getting too down when millionaires lose a hockey game.

As for handedness, I often feel coaches get too obsessed with that, rather than playing the best man available. When the Astros won the World Series in 2022, both Seattle and Philadelphia lost series-clinching games when their managers pulled pitchers who were doing well, so a lefty could face another lefty, Yordan Alvarez.

It is interesting, because with guitar, the overwhelming majority of players play right handed, even lefties like me. So the majority of guitars built are for righties.

I try to work both. If anyone is interested, I did this yesterday. It was absolutely glorious, 46 degrees, breathing cool air. I literally wanted to be on the mat all night. I share it because as much as a try to balance, my dominant left hand does work a little harder.

Good for him on landing that contract, bad on management, for giving it to him, when other needs on that roster could not be addressed. I said it when he signed you need a roster in front of your goaltender, 16 mil for Sway and Lindholm, absolutely tying the hands of management to make this roster better. Management must point the finger at themselves, and a bigger mistake, would be to not correct the problem and admit it was a bad signings. If you do not do something you are wasting Pastas prime years, by the time this team gets better he will be close to Marchands situation, and will be asked when that time comes, should he be moved at the TDL.
The cap is going up after this year. The Sway signing will look better once he gets a decent team in front of him. Not so sure the Lindholm signing will ever look good. He just isn't producing enough.
