After watching last night, Sweeney needs to see if he can get Frederic and Geekie at 4M each today. If cap goes up 7% that is like paying them 3.7 today. That will be

I think it goes beyond winning or losing those games. They clearly didn't play like a playoff team. Swayman stood on his head most of those nights. I know its a long season and they'll be ups and downs, but even in the bruins ups this year, it just feels that theirs a down all over it. Its more than apparent changes need to be made, is that Sweeney being let-go, maybe, but If its not now and the bruins falter, miss the Playoffs do they do it then, and make a change wishing they would of made it back before the deadline? My feeling which is totally irrelevant, is their going to ride it out and keep him,hopefully its the right move but this team desperately needs a new direction moving forward and I'd welcome a new GM.

There is no right or wrong answer. Coming from someone who is right handed and naturally shoots left, bats left and golfs left like yourself. Nobody ever showed me how to hold a stick/bat/club it was clearly the more natural thing for me to hold it with my dominant hand as my top hand. It even goes further than that. I can turn, stop, forward and backwards cross-over much more easily in one direction than the other.

To do it the other way around with my right hand as the bottom hand feels extremely awkward. I'm always amazed by guys who can switch hit at the major league level given how difficult it is. I'm convinced that a lot of elite hockey players may not be completely ambidextrous but are fairly close, just because they can turn/stop/crossover so well in both directions. Part of it is training the brain trough repetition but I think it goes beyond that. Probably explains why many hockey players are strong golfers and I'd wager many of them shoot left and golf right given the ratio in hockey compared to golf (more lefties in hockey and and a lot more righties in golf).

What baffles me is players like Jones and Wahlstrom are seeing the end of the line if they don't produce - but both seem to be going through the motions like the rest of the team.....not asking for a fight but the occasional hit, scrum or display of emotion would be nice

And last night's NESN shots of Sacco showed someone who looks resigned and probably knows the interim tag becomes former coach this April

I actually feel bad for Sacco, again, I`d do a sweeping of the house, all coaches, GM and Prez gonzo but that won`t happen

League save % 2024-25 (based on NHL network graphic) = .901%

It's gotten progressively worse every year except between 2018-19 and 2019-20.

The goalies haven't gotten worse, the shooters are just getting better and better.

Anyone see Neil Pionk's slapper last night from about 30 feet out off the rush? When is the last time a Bruin did that? Pasta last year sometime.

All due respect to Morgan Geekie but when he's the 2nd best shooter on your team, you are going nowhere.

Not much to say, but I love finding these AI images. I'll hope for the best, but without Charlie and Lindholm, it is going to be very rough. We have been so used to a strong PK over the years, this is very hard to take. The PP has been an issue forever, but without one or the other.......yikes.

At least Swayman gives the Bruins a league leader in one category: most goals allowed.
