The Danes played only the first period against Canada, then they gave up. They found out, that they are not able to surprise Canada, and knew, that they have next game today. So I expect them to be quite fresh, and to play much tougher than against CAN. Still, Russia should definitely win this one.

It would have to be devastating to be pounded into humiliation like that. The Danish kids have to be hurting badly. I hope it is a 2-1 win for Russia.

Would really like to see the following today:

-Podkolzin with a goal or two
-Top line with multiple points
-At least a couple of points from Defense
-Very solid D

A bit last minute change in my schedule - if anyone wants two (free) tickets to this game, please PM me.

As Gord said. Danes usually play Russia tough. They need to reset completely after last nights disaster.

Be interesting to see what the Kazakhs have...i assume the Danes will be scouting hard to see what their relegation opponents will look like.

Denmark has been sending some solid teams to the WJC in recent years...must be a bad birth year for them or something.
