Ugly goal on Gru.

Anytime the Kraken get a lead it scares me that Geu will give up a softie and kill the team...but Gru did make some good even great saves but the soft goals rips one's heart out

At this point I’d give a first to have someone take Gru and his cap hit. Yeah, you’d miss out on a pick, but that $6mil could be used on so many better ways.

Something like eating half of his salary and paying a 2nd rounder would be fine to me, and maybe we'd have to take a little bad money back on a different player too. But I wouldn't pay a 1st. And that's not because Gru isn't that bad, he is. But we're not winning any cups this year or next and we'll need that pick/prospect when we are in contention. We can also just bury Gru in the minors or buy him out. All options I'd prefer to spending a 1st to move him.
