Missing 3 of our top 4 defensemen. The rest have not played much together and are in a much different system under new coach Monty. If you are aggressive you will get some chances. Could be a fun one.
Boston is getting goals from all 4 lines right now and averaging 5 a game so far.

Oh, about the game, I will only add that I will be happy if we can break the ''outshot by 20-to-40'' cycle. Albeit not overly optimistic We're the worst in the league at this. We're making (tied) least shots in the league, and are allowing the most shots in the league. What a freaking exciting combo

It doesnt matter. Your backup defensemen are better than the Ducks regulars.

Ducks are almost guaranteed to give up at least 5 goals.

I haven't been around long enough to have a good frame of reference, but I cannot think of many goalies like Gibson who pass the eye test for being a top goalie but are so heavily bombarded night-in night-out that they look terrible in terms of actual stats.

Most recent reference I have might be Lehtonen, who was far more blunder-prone but also didn't have the best defensive support around him and arguably was better than he looked on the stat sheet for quite some time.

I was going to say Hebert, but he actually looked quite good on the stats (he was top-5 in shots faced for like the first 6 years of the franchise and top-10 in save percentage), just underrated. So that's basically the opposite of what you're talking about.
