11/7 is such a mess.

I hate it, too, for the same reason plus it shuffles the D pairings. Can’t help but think the 11/7 is to get Jiricek in a game but using the 7 to protect (e.g. hide) him.

That period was worse than the scoreboards indicates. Right now only the top forward line inspires confidence. The rest I describe as Alison Lukan would say when Porty would ask how she felt about a trio - “ yes, that’s a line”

Dunno what the rule technicals are but I think that was the right moral call, the play was clearly affected by that push (crosscheck if you ask me).
