But is it by choice, are some teams just plain sucks for long due to poor draft/development or bad management ? A well orchestrated rebuild isn’t supposed to linger for a decade.

Mixture of both but if I ran the league I'd be actively working at a way to try and reduce the incentive to tank while trying to lower the age to UFA/promote trade activity because this shit has gotten extremely dull. Compare it to the NFL where even if you have a favorite team, you're excited to watch the games of everyone else and follow the action.

Still early in the season, but the lack of execution and the difficulty of having clean breakouts or just clearing the zone is still as bad as last year imo

This game is not going well. Top 6 is not doing its job in any zone.

There’s no real top 6. Dach will need a few weeks to get back on track after missing a whole year. Armia is not the answer on that 2nd line. Other teams just need to concentrate on stopping Suzuki’s line.
