What are you liking about 2022 draft ?

Slaf if developed well can be top 20 in a redraft. Hutson in a redraft could go top 5. Beck looks like a sure thing NHL regular in the future. Engstrom is underrated. And hopefully mesar can develop well but even if he doesn't, if you can get 2-3 NHLers out of a given draft, you've done well. I think Habs can get 4 maybe 5 NHLers out of 2022 which I consider good

I mean we can't just make those proclaimstions until we see how teams operate in the new cap environment next year. Sorokin is a superstar not an elite goalie. He's probably the only goalie in the NHL that can take a mid team to the playoffs in a tough conference. If the difference between having him and not is 2 mil, you find that extra money

They just the nature of the position, you end up with too much cap tied into a binary position and that negate the advantage you started with.
