IF the Rangers can carry this play forward, for the most part, we may remember this as a bit of a statement game coming off the atrocity against Nashville. Especially Fil, Laf, KK all contributing, Bread really getting into traffic and dominating, Quick surprising us, Trochek scrapping, etc.

For all those "THE REFS HATE THE NYR" folks

How we don't get a penalty out of that is ridic

gets lost on ppl it's almost never personal with the refs...over 82 games you get boned sometimes and you get breaks sometimes. there are def nights where it gets personal with refs and it compounds your issues, but in almost all cases thats water under the bridge the next time around.

and yes, i have no idea how we weren't short there, but we were due for some breaks. ideally woulda preferred they come in a more timely spot but not gonna complain about some good fortune.
