Dude is constantly on the LW boards in the neutral zone.

Cuylle and laffy should be flipped in the lineup. Let's see what that looks like over the course of a couple games...

Western road trip might actually be the best thing for them right now. Getting their act together without home distractions, away from their own fans.

It’s complicated. But Rangers are first, even if I do have a lot of love for Anaheim.

my problem is he just doesn't know where it's going. Far too often it's wide or right at the goalie

To make it worse, he tries to pick the corner, and missing a shot from the circle like that often results in the puck leaving the zone. Good thing Foxy expects it by now and manages to save Mika’s rear every now and then.

YES. If he were able to consistently hit a spot then 85-90 is fine. So often you’ll see Fox or Panarin wait for a nice screen, and then slip the pass through while the goalie is blinded, and Mika had like 1-2 feet of open net while the goalie recovers, but the puck is no where near the net.

Sometimes I feel like a one time wrister would be more successful for him.

I think that should have been done already. Cuylle driving the net with Panarin on the ice might be a good thing. Lafreniere gets sent back to LW. And actually Cuylle deserves 2nd line right now anyway with the effort he brings.
