At least the one timer part is right, he's a way better option for that than say, Heinola. I just don't get why they didn't do Heinola-Stanley then previously.

I hope Stan gets a few. That'd be funny as hell and we need the win.

Sucks the big one Lowry is out but I'd rather he deal with an injury now, over the eve of the playoffs.

Been snooping on other teams threads lately. In Colorado's case, it seems like they are pretty worried about playing us and potentially getting goalied by Hartebuyck again. Was actually really cool seeing the level of genuine respect they have for our team.

The Oilers PGT after their loss to Washington was absolutely disgusting. Almost to a man, it was pure vitriol towards Skinner. It made any post game negativity from our side look like messages in a Hallmark card. Pathetic behavior in my opinion.

Analysis of a player and their performance, debating the merit of them being in the lineup, what can be improved upon, what decisions the staff is making in regards to the lineup and who should be in it - all of that is fair play.

There are a few players on our team I'd like to see play better, sure. If I could clone Bobby Orr and stick a pair of him on our blue line, I'd do that for you, baby. If I could convince Crosby to ditch the penguin for a plane, I'd do that too.

Sadly, I can't.

But what I can do, is back whoever is wearing our crest that given night and hope they come out flying. Seeing the state of them over there, has made me take a firm, personal stance. Shitting on a player to that degree is garbage and not that kind of shite I'm going to participate in. I firmly believe that degree of volatile energy does more damage to a team than one might think. Our job as fans, I prefer the term supporters, is to do just that. Support.

I hope that fanbase has to watch McDavid and co get knocked out of the first round.
