Welcome! No I fixed it for you.
Kid needs to find the back of the net, it's been 84 years.
Yup - it's always someone elses fault with good ol SmurfettiThat would require him playing with someone who could finish.
adorable?
My point is, to have a primary assist, someone, in fact, does have to finish the play.Yup - it's always someone elses fault with good ol Smurfetti

That's a pretty lame comparison. Heinola has not had a solid stretch of games played in TWO YEARS. In his last run he had 3 games where I thought he built up some consecutive good play and then was summarily scratched. Before that run he really didn't show me anything to suggest that he was improving. My point is, to have a primary assist, someone, in fact, does have to finish the play.
Don’t get me wrong, I am disappointed with his output right now. I’m sure no one is more disappointed than him. Has the same look on his face as Hyman, when he couldn’t score for the first 20 games of the season. And that was playing with McDavid or Draisaitl.
He’s playing hard, winning board battles, playing excellent defence and is generating chances. I’m not too worried about him.
And seems to me, a week or two ago you were saying the same things about Heinola. Too small. Not showing anything. Now you are calling for him to get a more extended look because miraculously he is improving with some playing time.
I’m sorry, but I’m just not that fickle. I’ve got patience for both of them and see their potential.
?Nino has 4 goals in his last 26 games, something like that.
Names has 3 in his last 24 games.
Even ignoring goals, there's 2 guys on this team that are "good" in 5v5 scoring, Connor and Ehlers. Scheifele is "alright", and then a bunch of meh for their position in the lineup, Perfetti (and Vilardi) included.
It's a team wide issue. The PP doing a good job of masking it. They're 14th in the league in 5v5 goals/60. Good defense and Helle make it look alright, and it's clear they're focused on defense first, just need some more offensive pop from a lot of guys down the lineup.
Like the Ehlers/Lowry combo if they can get a better winger than Iafallo.
I think you can do some damage with the 14th place team in 5 on 5 scoring AND the best PP in the NHL . Although you need refs that are looking at both teams for penalties not just 1 .?
Scheifele has 20 ES Goals. Ehlers has 10. Lowry has 11, Nino has 12.
Colorado is a depth poor team, so I think it's managing Mackinnon and Rantanen back to back and seizing opportunities when the stars aren't on the ice., edit: apparently they are reunited so it's Drouin and Lehkonen on the 2nd line.
Be interesting to see how the Cs slot in for this game, if Ehlers and Nino stick together, and if Apples is going to play, which seems likely.
Have to wait for pre game skate.
Stan healthy scratched for the first time this season?
AI on top line, Vilardi down to 2nd
Laine said they were at practice at camp and someone said to Buff "See you tomorrow" and Buff said "I'm not coming back" and everyone thought he was kidding - but he never came back.CJOB are such a pack of hacks
Christian Homer- “after this we reveal the bomb shell Laine said about Buff leaving the Jets back in the day”
3 segments go by, no mention of this “BREAKING NEWS”
Can anyone enlighten me?
Zone time. That's Arniel's game. Wear teams down in their own end to draw penalties. Colorado is a good test, as they have some of the best skaters.I think you can do some damage with the 14th place team in 5 on 5 scoring AND the best PP in the NHL . Pfffft, wow amazingly capitulating news there CJOB!Laine said they were at practice at camp and someone said to Buff "See you tomorrow" and Buff said "I'm not coming back" and everyone thought he was kidding - but he never came back.
