Vitaly horsepower has leveled off
That’s what they said about Laf until he got put on a line with actual NHL players.

Wow. Mojitos killed me. Just woke up andsaw thegoals. Nice
Just wondering how long the 6-year narrative remains part of the discussion.
Again, I'm not saying he can't become great, but he's overrated here based on current performance. That's my only contention about him.
People are understandably salivating over the possibilities, but right now, way too many bad plays.

I know but I’m using Fox for comparison, because a lot of people call him Fox-lite, and I don’t really see it. He’s more up-tempo and his hands aren’t nearly as good as Fox’s. Some people see how effective Fox is and assume Jones will have a similar impact because he plays a similar game. I love Jones btw, but I also love Miller. I do think Jones is steadier right now, but if Miller at least somewhat hits his potential, I think he’ll be better.I'm npt saying Jones is Fox.
Only that right now he looks far steadier than Miller.

"many bad plays" lol. He's been solid for basically most of this season. You and others are harping way too much over 1-2 bad games lately in his rookie season. Not having Trouba doesn't help either.
Marc Staal on his knees again
He really needs to help his partner with the D.Marc Staal on his knees again
I don't know about other people.
I've felt this way most of the season.

I’m a big Miller fan and I’m not worried about him but the last month or two he’s been struggling."many bad plays" lol. He's been solid for basically most of this season. You and others are harping way too much over 1-2 bad games lately in his rookie season. Not having Trouba doesn't help either.
He was never expected to even make the team this year. Based on preseason expectations, Miller would MAYBE be getting a cup of coffee about now after spending the season with the Pack. Is he perfect? No. Is he ahead of schedule and showing the potential to be a special player? Yes. His issue is consistency, and that's exactly the kind of thing that a player gets with experience (and why the fact that he's only been playing D since 2015/2016 is still a part of the discussion).

The most optimistic projections for him when we drafted him were that he may be able to dip his toes in the NHL late next season or in 2022-2023. He has blown them out of the water.
I highly, highly doubt that there is any GM in the league who would take Jones over Miller.
I have no idea if that's true.
