I agree to a point. We're ahead. I'm less concerned about testosterone filled responses than I am about doing all the right things to close out this game. The wings need to respond against the lightning in the third. The lightning can’t come into our building and take their way with Raymond like that toward the end, Berggren with Czernak and Compher earlier. If we’re building toward Championship hockey, it starts here. Champions have the DNA to fight back. What’s the point of having the big bodied players we have if we’re not going to use it when needed?
Edit: glad to hear we’re getting a power play out of it. But my point still stands.
Absolutely fair, I just get so upset of experiencing years of teams having their way with the Wings. There needs to be a balance and not to get carried away to the point where it costs us the game, but we do have to integrate it into our game at some point. It is an element to the game that can’t be ignored long term.I agree to a point. We're ahead. AlJo negated Kucherov handily late in the second. I am starting to love this kid. If he keeps this up for the season, he’s a great candidate for one of those long term cheap-to-us/rich-to-him deals.
